Workshops and Training

Part of PHEAA's mission is to create access to education, not only through our state grant and other special programs or the student loans we manage, but also through providing counselors and teachers with the tools their students need to reach their educational goals.

To assist in this endeavor, we provide free counselor workshops to help you find ways to excite your students about the future.

Workshops for Elementary and Middle School Counselors/Teachers

PHEAA is available to conduct school or regional workshops on using www.EducationPlanner.org for career exploration. If your school or several schools in your region would like to schedule an in-service career exploration workshop where teachers and counselors can receive Act 48 credits, please contact the Regional Office that serves your school.

Workshops for High School Counselors/Teachers

The 2008-09 Counselor Workshops, sponsored by PHEAA and PASFAA (PA Association of Financial Aid Administrators), will be held in November. Counselors can receive Act 48 credits by attending one of the 41 workshops scheduled at locations across the Commonwealth. Learn more/Register.
