Education Planner
This free, award winning Internet site has six modules; Discovering, Preparing, Selecting, Deciding, Applying and Paying. Each module is full of information that is available to teachers, counselors, students and parents 24 hours a day. The site is designed to provide career, college and scholarship search information for parents and students in grades 8-12; however, the site has useful information for non-traditional students as well.
This Website has a college search that is not limited to Pennsylvania . Students can search for postsecondary schools anywhere in the United States . Education Planner also offers such things as Career Assessment Tools, Resume Writing, Test Prep for SAT and ACT, a College Bound Reading list, Tips for Parents and Counselors, a Learning Style Quiz and much, much more.
Education Planner now contains a scholarship search for graduate students, prep tests for grad students, and an expanded Nursing database of schools. Look for additional enhancements during the 2006-07 school year.
PHEAA Regional Directors are available to do in-service training sessions for counselors and teachers, as well as a
full workshop upon request. In additional to the Regional Directors who provide computer lab sessions for students, there
is also an Education Planner Specialist who provides classroom training to students in 10 counties in South Central and
